North Wales Borderlands consists of three areas; Flintshire, Denbighshire and Wrexham. They are situated in the top north- eastern corner of Wales and share a border with England. The task was to encourage English people in the neighbouring towns to visit the Borderlands for a mini break instead of just passing through to the more popular holiday regions of Wales.
We branded North Wales Borderlands as a sort of Narnia/ Wonderland with the tagline Wander and Wonder. The results surpassed client expectations. Their little brochure was picked up more than any other brochure from anywhere else in Wales at the London tourist information centre in the Summer of 2008.
